THE WATCH   Despite bearing a name with a history dating back to the late XVIIIth century, Jules Jurgensen has never been a well known brand. From watchmakers to simple retailers, it is not possible to put their name on a significative watch innovation or model. Is that a bad thing? Certainly not. Like many other brands of that time, Jules Jurgensen were exploiting the limitless world of possibilities offered by the Swiss industry, the choice of cases, dials, movements or even hands was so gigantic that you could really create your own timepiece lines without having to produce the spares. Jules Jurgensen like many other brands is part of the history of watchmaking, and although it didn’t survive the quartz crisis, some of the watches they produced (or assembled) are really cool to say the least. This particular chronograph fits the bill exactly. The skin-diver case with a rotating bezel, touches of pink on the dial, black pvd pushers and a decorated case back make it a very cool chronograph to wear and to look at.   THE SPECS   Year: Circa 1960s Maker: Jules Jurgensen Model: N/A Reference: N/A Movement: Manual Winding - Landeron 248 Material: Stainless Steel Diameter w/o crown: 38 mm Lug width: 20mm Band: Leather Glass: Plexiglas Signatures: 4 times
