Great collectible wristwatch for an avid Ball fan!!!
This is a super Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Diver watch. This highly respected modern watch has some very nice design features that include a unique crown locking system and a beautifully engraved massive case fit for active men and divers. Functions: Hours; minutes; seconds; date; diving bezel.Dial: An all-original Swiss Made signed black dial with a very interesting wave guilloche (engine turned). The dial is in mint shape and everything works as it should and the date flips smoothly at midnight or it can be quick set with the crown.The luminous hands and markers are bright and very legible in low light conditions. Case: An intentionally massive 40mm stainless steel case without the crown and 46mm with the crown assembly that looks awesome on the wrist. Movement: The Swiss-made high-grade ETA based automatic movement ETA 2892-2. Crystal: Sapphire.Crown: As you can see in the photos, the crown assembly has a unique locking system. If you're not familiar with it, patiently figure it out by pushing on the tab on top that will release the latch so you can get to the crown. This is a diving "threaded" crown that should be threaded back after setting the time so you can close the latch securely (requires a push to thread in).
