Up for sale is this Ebel 1911 Automatic Certified Chronometer Chronograph. It has a self winding Swiss mechanical movement you can also manually wind. This version of the 1911 model features a synthetic sapphire front crystal and matching display back. It was purchased in the late 90's/early 00's but has spent the vast majority of its life in a dark dry drawer.For the best description of condition, please see the detailed photos - and ask if there's an angle I missed you would like to see. As with any pre-owned watch there will be normal wear and tear, but this is in excellent condition and looks great on the wrist. The leather may not be brand new, but it was sparsely worn and never abused. Would probably clean up nicely with the right leather cleaner.Everything works - each chronograph button/pusher, dial, and function work just as they should and all reset properly to 12 o'clock/north. I had the chronograph running while taking the pictures today to illustrate their being at different positions. The date wheel works crisply as it should. Obviously no mechanical watch will keep as accurate time as a quartz.The stainless steel deployant clasp is OEM, marked Ebel Swiss.
