This beautiful amazing large skeletonized dress marriage watch that dates to SKELETON and decorated of the HIGHEST QUALITY ENGRAVING. This movt has been in addition updated and engraved by  the craftsman later  MOVEMENT: The plates are super clean and the have only the finest workmanship throughout. Working very well, overall condition is very clean. This beautiful watch has the original movement in excellent status. Winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time. Serial number #12,361 dates it to the year 1880.CASE: NEW  Case and gold plated, that provides with glass cover of back lid. Once finished, he went as a watchmaker assistant to Berlin, where he appropriated further knowledge. Soon he devoted himself exclusively to the production of new watches. With the existing contacts Berlin watchmakers (presumably the Berlin chronometer maker Christian Friedrich Tiede) [3] Julius Assmann competed at the company A. Lange & Cie.In 1852 he founded the J. Assmann German anchor watch factory in Glashütte. The spelling of the name Aßmann with "ss" in the company name should export orientation be due to the overseas market on the advice and with the support of Ferdinand Adolph Lange , Julius Assmann was instrumental in co-operation with the protagonists of the Glashütte watch industry, Ferdinand Adolph Lange, Adolf Schneider and Moritz Grossmann in the development of Glashütte precision pocket watch that was only in 1865 finally mature.Julius Assmann made watches in quality to those of the company A.     On July 31, 1853 Julius Assmann married in Glashütte Emilie Auguste Schneider, the daughter of an officer in the Royal Saxon Ministry of War to Dresden. From this marriage was born on August 28, 1854 son Paul Friedrich Adolph Assmann.  comes after his first wife had died at the age of 35 years beginning in 1864, he married on December 2, 1865 Marie Antonie Lange, the eldest daughter of Ferdinand Adolph Lange, the founder of the Glashütte watch industry.Julius Assmann made his son Paul as a watchmaker and let him perfect his skills in the watchmaking school in Le Locle in Switzerland.
