For sale a mint Aquastar Regate, from the early 60’. As it's the first regatta yachttimer watch, this Aquastar is a piece of history. Based on the Felsa 4000N movement (modified with a indicator disk), the Aquastar Regate is a flyback chronograph with a 5 minutes countdown function.How it works : after a reset the five red dots and the sweep second hand return to 60 (0). By releasing the pusher, the countdown timer starts and the sweep hand is set in motion. After one minute, the first dot changes to silver, another four minutes to go. After 5 minutes all dots are silver and the regatta starts. The indicator disk stops but the second hand will run as long as the movement is wounded enough.This model is the first execution, as you can see from the dial (Regate under the 12) and from the specific caseback. This watch is in very good condition as shown on pictures : no dings or scratch on case (some small ones on caseback), dial and hands in perfect condition (no spot, no loss of tritium). Crown is signed. The Aquastar Regate has a strong presence with its 38 mm case (without crowns) and its so unique dial. .This watch is located in France. Feel free to ask any question.
