The word "Replica" in the model name of this authentic Eberhard Chronograph refers to an original line of 1930's chronographs which Eberhard supplied to the Italian Royal Navy. The mechanical hand-winding movement and every other feature of this watch is Eberhard's attempt to reproduce the beautiful and classic style of those years. This line was introduced in 1982. The watch has a plaque d'or (sometimes called vermeil) case, using 0.925 Silver plated with 50 microns of gold. The crown is original, and is a screw-down crown. The pushers are flattened and elliptical in shape. This watch is still beautiful, with a mint condition white fused glass "porcelain" dial with multicolor glass enamel touches. The case, movement (a very clean, high grade 17 jewel chronograph rare caliber 1873) and case are all triple signed. The watch was just serviced, runs well, and all timing and chronograph functions operate as they are supposed to. The watch is fitted with a black leather band, which shows little sign of use, and a yellow gold color stainless steel deployment clasp. This watch comes with a signature Eberhard box, but no papers.
