Up for sale is a VINTAGE ANGELUS CHRONODATO RESTORED , STAINLESS STEEL REFINISHED DIAL AND NEW HANDS Watch was completely restored about a year ago, movement was cleaned , dial refinished with new hands, new crown and a new acrylic crystal. The case is all stainless steel and in very good condition and was not polished when watch was restored. Even though the back is made of stainless steel it has some light pitting and can be seen in the pictures. The Chronograph buttons are good with just a vey small amount of wear. Case is 38mm across excluding the crown and 44mm from tip of lug to tip of other lug and 19mm between the lugs. The dial was refinished as original with new hands added and looks great. The movement is bright, free of marks and stains and is marked ANGELUS. Inside back of case is marked: ANGELUS WATCH CO. SWISS - ACIER INOX - 220087. All of the correctors work well and the day and date change every 24 hours but the month has to be changed with the corrector. Watch works well and keeps good time and the chronograph functions as it should with a 45 minute register.
