The tip of the alarm hand is highlighted by red. The case of the Vulcain Cricket watch is sculptured in black titanium and measures 44 mm in diameter. The case construction incorporates the fast date-correction pusher positioned at 10 o’clock and the alarm corrector between 2 and 3 o’clock, while the winding-crown is found at 3.30.  The case back is produced from sapphire crystal to guarantee optimal diffusion of the alarm sound under water or in the air, with acoustics improved by the titanium case.  The fluted outer rotating bezel has been designed for most comfortable handling and features a 60-minute scale. The Cricket X-Treme Automatique Air Force 1 "All Black" offers high-precision timekeeping as it is equipped with the new self-winding Cricket Calibre V-21 alarm movement. The movement is built from 257 components. It operates at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour and offers a 42-hour power reserve.  The 12-lignes movement incorporates two barrels, with the first one providing the power for driving hours, minutes and seconds, and the second providing the power for the alarm function with its 20-second chime. The unidirectional winding movement has an oscillating weight provided with a ceramic ball-bearing mechanism. The movement animates the hours, minutes and central seconds, the alarm function, as well as the date and the 60-minute counter on the unidirectional rotating bezel. The Vulcain Cricket X-Treme Automatique Air Force 1 "All Black" watch is presented on a black vulcanized rubber strap featuring Vulcain marking and a safety folding clasp, also in black titanium. The timepiece is 100-meter water-resistant.
