NEVER OFFERED ON EBAY BEFORE! CASE:This is a stunning, and beautiful two piece snap back all steel watch case. The back of the case is correctly MARKED 6B/159 with the broad arrow and is numbered 8467/42. The case itself is in VERY GOOD original condition showing only light wear! There are only a few very light marks to the case back and the case side shows a mark where the back has been opened using a watch tool. The watch measures 3.2cms (32mm) In diameter, excluding the crown. This is a stunning and beautiful QUALITY original BRITISH RAF PILOTS watch case.DIAL:This is an absolutely lovely, minty and most importantly totally original fully signed military BRITISH RAF dial. The dial is in original condition and has not been retouched. It shows light spotting and a light original patina. The dial is signed "EBEL" in BLACK painted lettering with the wording underneath 'Swiss' on the bottom of the dial. It has black painted Arabic numeral which have lightly faded in places, bordered by a BLACK recording minute track which is in good original condition. The beautiful BLUED STEEL NEEDLE POINTER minute and blued steel spade hour hands are in excellent condition. The centre second hand is highlighted in RED and is original. The crystal is the only new addition and as it is new it is in excellent condition.MOVEMENT:This is a lovely clean and absolutely genuine EBEL CAL 101 15 jewel manual wind centre second movement. It has a beautiful finish and is FULLY signed on the mainspring barrel wheel in a beautiful typesetting, showing its true EBEL roots. It is numbered as it should be. This watch has been SERVICED at considerable cost. The watch winds smoothly and sets with ease.It is in full working condition. The watch is keeping good time as tested over a 12 hour period. The stainless original crown may be a later addition to the watch, and is in excellent condition showing hardly any wear. BAND:This fabulous EBEL BRITISH RAF PILOTS wrist watch has been fitted with a brand new black leather 18mm band. The band has a white metal buckle.
