In
the 1970’s and 80’s, Benytone turned out some of the most interesting chronographs in the
world. This Chronograph is an
example of one of the most iconic of those vintage timepieces.
The
condition of this timepiece is completely original and un-restored. It has a very nice original patina on it that
indicates gentle use and care throughout its life. All of the mechanical components of the watch
work flawlessly.
This
wristwatch has been a part of my collection for many years and is worn
occasionally to ensure its continued function.
When
I purchased the watch some years ago, it was purchased as part of a
collection. I enlisted the services of a
watchmaker to inspect and clean all of the watches in that collection, as I do
with all of my watches when I purchase them, no matter what the history or
circumstances of their acquisition was.
Since then, the watch has been worn very sparingly.
There
is absolutely nothing that needs to be done to this wristwatch to collect and
enjoy it. The new owner will have a
wonderful original timepiece that can be worn and enjoyed for many years to
come.
I also have
an extensive collection of various and important chronographs, including Heuer,
Tudor, and Omega, some of which I am selling.
