George Graham was
born in 1674 in the small village of Cumbreland, England. He became
an apprentice watchmaker in 1688. Seven years later he was admitted
to the Company of Clockmakers and trained under other masters of his
time. Though he died penniless, during his life Graham's research
and innovative creativity would come to impact the watch world forever.
