I am selling my Grandmother's beautiful antique Pink (Rose) Gold Ladies wristwatch with jeweled mechanical movement and hinged cover. My Grandfather had it custom-made for her while he was stationed over in Europe during the war. It is an absolutely stunning one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery! I recently had the watch professionally reappraised on May 26, 2014 and it was estimated at a value of $3300 CAN. I will include the official Appraisal Document with the watch for insurance purposes. Below is the exact wording off of the NEW Appraisal Document I just had done on May 26, 2014: "One stamped 14Kk pink gold ladies hand assembled wristwatch. It appears to be constructed of a huntercase pocketwatch measuring approx. 30mm in diameter. White dial with jeweled mechanical movement. Round blue synthetic sapphire set in the crown. Inside case stamped "D=C", 131745. Engraved "AW" on the front of case in script. Attached is one 8 kt pink gold bracelet stamped "333". It is constructed of 7 hollow rectangular segments bead set with two 2.5mm round white seed pearls. Pink gold safety chain attached. Mount weight = 30.00 gm Approximate Replacement Value - $3300.00 CAN Comment: This item may not be readily replaceable due to age and origin." This watch works great and keeps good time. It has been carefully stored in the safe and only worn once - during my walk down the aisle at my wedding. *** I just recently had this watch re-evaluated by another appraiser to make sure the appraisal is accurate and not over-inflated for insurance purposes. He confirmed that the appraisal is exactly what the watch is worth - and NOT OVER PRICED for insurance. So if you want a great bargain - this is it!!!
