Born in Geneva, he was surrounded by many of the world's leading experts which lead him to establish his own manufactory in 1995. Roger Dubuis and Carlos Dias partnered together to establish a company that created watches based on tradition, while maintaining a keen eye for the future. Roger Dubuis’ idea of exclusiveness is truly philosophical in the sense that no highly complicated watch in precious metal is made in more that 28 examples, which gives full meaning to the idea of exclusiveness. Each collection has its own features, however they each comply with the four principles of the brand: innovative design, within current trends, exclusiveness and high-end technical know how. The popularity of Roger Dubuis is growing steadily as the world becomes familiar with the elegant craftsmanship that is the hallmark of this young company. The featured watch is an Automatic, 18K Rose Gold Roger Dubuis Much More Quantieme Perpetual Calendar. First presented in 1998, the Much More collection became an immediate and resounding success. Its rectangular-shaped case with high polished bezel, measuring to 34 x 47 mm, asserted an inimitably elegant personality. Produced in a limited edition of only 28 pieces, this watch comes on a oversized, curved 18K Rose Gold case with sapphire crystal protecting the dial as well as the transparent caseback. The white dial has gold-toned numeral hour markers with blued steel hands at center and features day and month below 12, a date indicator at 4 and the moon phase at 8. Completing this piece is a brown leather strap with an 18K Rose Gold Roger Dubuis tang buckle and it is water resistant up to 30 meters.
