Today I have for sale an extremely scarce and very special Seth Thomas pocket watch. This is a 23 Jewel Model 5 which is in excellent original condition. These watches were produced in a single run with only 200 ever produced. All these watches have serial numbers between 238201 and 238400. The serial number on this example is 238346 which dates its production to 1890. The 23 jewel adjusted movement with long neck regulator is in spectacular condition and is running great and keeping excellent time. The gold filled Deuber case is also in excellent condition. There is absolutely no wear through on the gold and really close to no damage on the outer case. There is a beautiful deer engraving on the back and extremely detailed decoration on the sides. The case is super sharp and looks incredible for its age. There are some scratches on the inner covers of the case. The original dial is also very clean. There are some hairlines but they are light and don't ruin the beauty of the dial. The crystal is overall good but does have a small chip on the edge around 11:30.
