For sale is my 39mm Gigandet Wakmann triple-date chronograph (circa 1960s) in excellent (92%) condition. This particular example features a rare all-black dial, which is nearly flawless. Movement is a Valjoux 730 (the final iteration of the famed Valjoux 72 movement) - also extremely clean. Domed crystal has only feint/superficial marks that are visible at certain acute angles, but otherwise not noticeable. Hands and case are in excellent condition. There is a gorgeous, creamy patination of the tritium on the hands and hour markers. Caseback is near mint. The watch keeps excellent time, all date functions work as they should, and the chronograph operates very well. Price includes insured shipping within the United States. International buyers will pay additional for shipping.
