Laco war eine von nur fünf Manufakturen, die jene 55 Millimeter großen Chronometer für die Luftwaffe herstellte. Das war die Basis für den Erfolg. Später – in den 50er und 60er Jahren – galt Laco als die Uhrenmarke in Deutschland.
THE LACO WATCH MANUFACTURE BY PASSION – LACO Quality Made in Germany: The idyllic town of Pforzheim has been the business address of the small and fine watch manufacture from the very beginning up to the present days. The well-established Laco-Team is as big as a football team. At any time, each of them knows what the other is doing, and the watches are reflecting this professionality - as every single Laco is handmade. It is still the watchmaker who makes the entire watch. Because it is quality that counts, not quantity. FAMILY TRADITION MADE IN GERMANY In 1925, Laco started the production of timepieces in Pforzheim, Black Forest. A family-owned factory founded by Frieda Lacher and Ludwig Hummel. Laco became well-known by the Fliegeruhren and was one of only 5 companies that manufactured those 55 millimeter sized chronometers for the German military. This was the basis for success. Later – in the years 50 and 60 – Laco was considered the watch brand in Germany.
