Jaguar 18kt solid gold watch. This watch was my 50th birthday present to myself 13 yrs ago, purchase date 30/04/03. I have worn it a few times but it has not been an everyday watch for me to wear. It is very heavy and very impressive looking when on. It still has the original crocodile skin strap that it had when I bought it,(a bit worn) but there is also an unused new crocodile skin strap with it. It is a chronograph automatic mechanism, perpetual sweep movement second hand (similar to Rolex) day and date with a crystal face ( unmarked ) so it only starts working when you wear it,  with that thought in mind it has not had many hours of use. Still in it`s original box with a British Racing Green Jaguar box. This is a very beautiful watch and has always caused interest due to it being a Jaguar watch. I have tried to find another one like it on the internet but cannot, my local jeweller valued the watch 12 years ago at £4000 for insurance.  (re advertised due to suspicious buyer!) For those interested the model number is J743 and the weight is 89grams. I have just received some more useful information about this watch. The Jaguar name is not associated with Jaguar cars the watch has a Swiss movement and is made by a company called Festina I have been told these watches retail from £2000 upwards, I bought this watch in good faith I have had no wish to mislead any possible buyers with the description I have given.  Also i have  information that this particular watch is no longer made with the Jaguar logo on it.
