This Oignon Verge Fusee also has the following functions : 1) This Listing is for a Beautiful, Unique and an Exceptionally Rare French Brass Oignon Verge Fusee Pocket Watch with a Single Hand. This Hand is So Amazing that it Just Makes the Watch Just Oooze with Age! 2) The Watch Runs Just Great! In fact, it'll Run to the End of the Chain and keeps Very Good Time, especially for a watch that's almost 3 & 1/2 Centuries Old! 3) The Watch is 57 mm (2 1/8 Inches) Wide, is 1 3/8 Inches Tall and Weighs 5.4 Ounces. 4) The Brass Dial has Roman Numerals, is in Excellent Condition!! 5) Also, this Dial has 3 Dashes in Between the Numerals, so with just the One Hand, you can tell the time to the Quarter Hour Very Easily!! 6) Has a High (6 mm) Domed Crystal, which is Raised above the Bezel, has No Scratches, Cracks, etc.! 7) The Watch is Key Wound from the front of the watch. To Wind the Watch, you simply Put the Key Over the Hour Arbor and Turn the Key Counter Clockwise!! It's really very easy to do and very convenient!! 8) The Deep Full Plate Fire Gilt Movement has the following components;           - A Spring Barrel, which the Chain is wound around when the watch is wound down,           - A Great Wheel, which the Chain is wound around when the watch is wound to run,           - The Great Wheel Transfers power to the Contrate Wheel,           - The Contrate Wheel then transfers Power to the Verge, which then interacts with the Balance Wheel which has the two "Pallets or Flags" on its Staff,           - The "Pallet Flags" then move back and forth, transferring power to the Balance Wheel, which is regulated to control the timing of the watch! 9) The Watch's speed is regulated via a Very Old Regulating Disc, that pre-dates the typical Tompion Regulating Disc. It's Located at the Top of the Movement and per usual, you turn it to the Right to Make the Watch Run Faster & Turn it to the Left to Make the Watch run Slower! 10) The top of the Movement Cover is Very Beautifully Filigreed with a Very Beautiful Pierced Balance Wheel Cover! 11) Deep Full Plate Fire Gilt Movement is supported with Slender Egyptian Pillars, 12) This is a Very Rare and Spectacular Verge Fusee Pocket Watch that is Very, Very Hard to Find!
