The blued steel breguet hands are also in excellent condition. The seconds track is in the 6 o'clock position.CASE:The heavy solid 14K gold case measures just under 2 inches in diameteror about 49.5 mm and is considered a 16 size case. The watch weighs just over 3 ounces including the movement The case has some minor dings and surface scratches around the perimeter but is in excellent condition overall. The case ( front, back and inner dust cover ) hinges are all tightThe case is fully numbered and hallmarked for solid 14K gold. MOVEMENT:The movement is signed AWW Co. , Waltham, Mass. and is beautifully factory engraved and finished. The movement is fully jeweled with screw set rubies and features a chronometer grade regulator and a gold center wheel. The watch winds and sets smoothly and is running strong. The movement is high grade, is clean and is accurate. The serial number places production to circa 1893 - 1894.
