Fortis 100 Anniversary Silver Grey Automatic Mattern Limited Art Edition in near-new condition. I bought this watch new on ebay on March 09, 2016 and have worn it no more than 10 times. It is the product of a partnership between Fortis Watch and noted artist Michael Mattern. It is number 278 of only 2012 produced (note that 2012 is the Fortis 100th anniversary.) I paid $1575 for it and if you search the internet for this model, you will find an average price of about $1970 for a new one. I am asking $1475 or best offer plus free shipping. The sapphire watch crystal gives you a clear view of the watch's internal mechanism and also lets you see the clever and novel design of the rotating date wheel with today's date displayed in the yellow square at 3 o'clock. The grey color draws attention to the yellow and blue components you can see see through the "skeleton" face. Make no mistake, this is a working watch with strong appeal for those no-nonsense watch owners who want a military look with a bit of added color. Sent to you fully insured at the purchased price.
