I would call this a gentleman's watch. Most gentlemen's watches were hunter cased so a bit unusual. This is an 11 Jewel, grade 128, model five, nickel plates, pendant set pocket watch. Serial number 5,297,192. The 14k gold case is lovely with the engraving flowing from the back of the watch to the front bottom and top leaving the front sides unengraved. Very beautiful and classy looking case. And very heavy the Watch weighs 160 grams. The dial has two hairlines between 12 and three. The movement is clean with blued screws. Some nice damascening on the plates and 11 ruby jewels. I can get the movement to start working but it stops. It hasn't been cleaned in 20 years, so the oil is thick and gummed up on the gears. The balance is fine and the winding spring is good, so it just needs a cleaning. Payment must be received within three days using PayPal.
