BEAUTIFUL AND STUNNING ANTIQUE (CIRCA 1820s/1830s) SOLID 18K GOLD POCKET WATCH WITH AN AMAZING MULTI-COLORED GOLD DIAL. OVERALL CONDITION IS OUTSTANDING AND JUST FULLY SERVICEDI have always been drawn to multi-colored gold dial pocket watches and this watch is no exception. Respectable sized watch with a diameter of approximately 46.4 mm and 64 mm including the bow. Keeps very good time for a 200 year old watch. The engraving on the inner dust cover still retains the white enamel so everything is easy to read.I just services this watch so there are zero worries. No major dings, dents or scratches and all of the hinges close flush and tight. Glass crystal. This watch was crafted by Brothers Melly or sometimes referred to as Melly Freres - Freres is French for brothers.The weight of the solid 18k gold case (with movement and crystal removed) is approximately 40 grams so pure scrap value alone is $1,275 but the value of this watch is not the inherent gold value, it is the exceptional craftsmanship and beauty.
