Up for sale is a Hamilton Cambridge made in platinum. There are only a handful of models made in platinum and I believe the Cambridge is one of the rarest. The case very nice shape. The edges are sharp and crisp. The case is marked Hamilton and Platinum/Iridium. The back was never personalized, which is nice. This watch is unrestored and unpolished, which I believe collectors prefer. There is only very minor wear and the case is sharp and not dulled and is free of any major issues. There aren't even any service marks on the inside of the case, so I don’t think this watch saw too much wrist time. The watch has a Hamilton 982M movement movement. The movement is likely original to the watch and it winds well, sets well, and runs well, but I only ran it for a short period of time since I’m not sure when it was last serviced. The M version of the 982 series in the upgraded Meadllion series that Hamilton put into their higher-end watches. The watch is on a gray leather strap with a marked Hamilton buckle. This all comes in a celluloid Hamilton watch box with blue velvet lining. The is the special display version with the small retractable metal feet on the bottom that made it easier for the jeweler to display the watch. Please email with questions. Buyer to pay $20 shipping in the USA or $40 for worldwide shipping.
