Levin 8 mm headstock lathe, with an 18" Levin bed, tailstock with stop, Bodine shunt wound motor with electronic controller allowing control of the speed and the torque of the motor.  The motor is for all practical purposes new, and has only been used a few hours, as I replaced the previous non-shunt motor with it and a spare controller I had for my 10mm Levin lathe.  This is a great setup for someone who needs a precision lathe.  Most lathes that you find will not have a controller or motor of this quality and capability running it.  With this controller, you can run the motor very slowly, but with full torque.  I will supply a length of 1/8" belting material with the lathe so that you can set up the correct belt size once you have the lathe mounted on your workbench.  The belting material is easily joined with heat.  Free shipping to the continental US; I will most likely ship in two boxes, as the total weight is about 55 pounds, and the lathe and motor will pack better separately.
