Magnificent Jean Pierre Thuillier forget Pegasus Paris 1740 fusee Perseus & Andromedat. 906 Magnificent and splendidly decorated double case pocket watch watchmaker Jean Pierre Thuillier from Switzerland and Paris to 1740 . Both case in gold. Inner housing with gold counters; Master mark AM, French lily, Löve, crown and case no. 337 . Outside housing finely worked with relief of molded representation of the mythological scene of the liberation of Andromeda by Perseus. To punish her mother's hubris that her daughter Andromeda held for more beautiful than the Nereids, Poseidon sent the sea monster Ketos. To save the country from before the monster Andromeda was chained to a rock by the sea, to be sacrificed to the monster. Then Perseus comes on the winged horse Pegasus fly, defeated the monster, freed Andromeda and takes her for his wife. To this scene, the four elements in allegory of different animals: Swan (water), Dragon (Fire), Adler (air) and monkey with fruit (earth). Both housing in nice condition with small traces of age and wear. Enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic hour minute. Two blued hands. The dial is restored to the opener at 6 o'clock.
