DescriptionHigh-quality antique Quarter Repeater & Chronograph pocket watch dated to circa 1900'. Full Hunter case crafted from solid 18k gold bearing the factory original enamel dial and complicated movement working wonderfully, featuring a Chronograph function and Repeater mechanism.
CASE: Full Swiss hunter case crafted in 18k Solid Gold, with plain outer covers, solid gold dustcover and antique style crown with oval-shaped bow featuring a gold hallmark on the neck (see photo #10). It includes a push-button at 7 o'clock to trigger the bell mechanism and a chronograph button at 12 o'clock. Measures 54.5 mm (2.15") in diameter and is 16.5 mm (0.65") thick. Signed on the dustcover 'Repetition Chronographe' and engraved with medals. Stamped inside all covers with 18k gold seal and Swiss gold hallmark. Marked inside with reference number 81435. The complete watch weighs 102 grams / 3.6 oz. DIAL: Original antique white enamel dial with 'Louis XV' golden hands, black enameled Arabic numerals and a blued steel central chronograph hand. Sunken seconds subdial at 6 o'clock and outer chronograph scale in black. MOVEMENT: Original Swiss made complicated movement with Chronograph and Quarter repeating mechanisms. When activated, the movement will strike the last recorder hour and quarters. Single pusher to start, stop and sharply reset the chronograph function.
