Rare find from doctor's estate - one owner family on this solid 18k gold A Lange & Sohne large pocketwatch measuring 49.5mm across. The watch has been serviced by our company for the last 15 years and now has been acquired in an estate. It runs and sets well and looks absolutely phenomenal in person. The dial is white porcelean and features hand painted black numerals with red numerals to mark the seconds. The hands are decorative scrolling gold and in nice shape. The dial reads "A Lange & Sohne Glashutte B/Dresden" and there is a hairline crack running from the 1:00 down to the sub seconds, it is visible but super thin. The case and movement are both marked with the serial number 29479, matching case to movement as all original. The crown winds and sets the watch perfectly, along with the side button to depress and set the time. The crown does have two spots where the 18k yellow gold wrapping has come off. The watch has been engraved, see the photos up close for details. What makes this model unusual is the red second markers on the dial and the large size.
