I am a private collector and sometimes I sell some of my watches on ebay or locally to make way for new models. This is a lovely Franc Vila watch (model FVa8ch) which I have worn lightly across a short period of time as part of a large personal collection. It is 49mm finished in PVD and 18kt Rose Gold. It is a very large watch and thanks to the large face - some of which is constructed from carbon fibre, and matching yellow stitching it will get a lot of comments. Retail price of this hand made limited edition watch is around £26,000.This is number 9 of a very small, limited edition run and can no longer be bought. I have never seen another one of these models for sale. It is a very large watch but it is easy to wear as the case is sculpted to fit a wrist. This is difficult to engineer as even the rear sapphire crystal exhibition glass is sculpted to shape the wrist! This is another indication of the extremely high manufacturing quality of Franc Vila. This case design is unique to Franc Vila - and called 'esprit unique'.If you pay attention you can see the minute hand moves in an area that looks as if the case itself would stop it (at the bottom of the case between 4 and 8). The case has been expertly milled inside to allow the minute hand to move through perfectly.This is a large 49mm watch sure to get attention - the level of finishing, as with all Franc Vila watches is first class- I have the a Franc Vila branded watch winder/box - all seen in the photographs.
