Hello and Welcome!Up for sale is a very neat running pocket watch made by the Illinois Watch Company in a White Gold filled Wadsworth case.Manufactured in: Springfield, IllinoisSerial Number: 4074842Grade: 405Jewels: 17Rough Production Year: 1922Size: 12sFeatures: Double RockerAbout the Case:Manufactured by: WadsworthMaterial: White Gold Filled (25 Year Warranty)Serial Number: 6019902What makes this watch very unique is that it says Relgis across the face. I have taken it to several specialists and no body can find any information about it's unique face. I once found on a watch forum somebody referencing a 17 jeweled Relgis and saying that only 1 is currently known to exist...I AM NOT SURE IF THIS PERSON WAS CORRECT. But if he was and this was the watch he was talking about, than i guess this is the second 17j Relgis "Known to exist"! =DIt still runs, which I find astounding considering it is nearly 100 years old. It is very mesmerizing just listening to it tick-tick-tick and equally mesmerizing when you open the back of it and watch all of the tiny components work in unison. I am no watch expert, and I am not sure how the condition of this watch is so please look at the pictures carefully to judge for yourself.It comes with a custom made box that will keep it protected. I will also make sure it is well padded and water proof when I ship it.I listed this at a high price because I don't know what it is worth. Feel free to make me an offer even if it is significantly lower than my asking price!
