For sale is an issued pre German unification German Air Force Chronograph watch from the 1980's - the back of the watch is marked Tutima - W-Germany so it is a piece of history!Plenty of wrist presence this beast measure at least 43mm diameter excluding the crown and is a massive 15mm thick! As it is an issued Air Force watch it has been coated/finished in a matte grey finish so it isn't shiny stainless steel, and the glass is anti reflective.The movement is the legendary Lemania 5100 that has just been serviced, so it is keeping excellent time with a power reserve of 46 hours. It keeps excellent time as expected from a watch that has been serviced and all chronograph functions work correctly.As per the pictures the watch has some marks on it as to be expected from a genuine military issued watch - the back of the watch is marked 'BUND 6645-12-194-8642 500967' which are the marking of an issued piece. Yes there are plenty of Tutima Chronographs with 'Military' on their dial and 'Military Chronograph' on the back available on eBay, but these were not issued - unless they had BUND markings on them the watch was never officially issued.So if you want to wear something different, has been issued and is a nice sized watch with plenty of wrist presence then this is the watch for you!Shipping + Insurance: (if required) will be paid for by the Buyer and charged at actual cost.
