For sale is a 1930s antique Art Deco women's watch. I have taken this watch to an appraiser and received the following information: Watch case is platinum with sapphire and diamond embellishments and sapphire crystal. There is a missing diamond on the case that will need to be replaced. Glass portion of case is unscratched. Case / time piece is from the mid-1930s. At some point the case backing became loose so a hinge and clasp was added for extra security. Watch band is not original to case and was likely added in the 1950s. Band is 14k white gold with diamonds. This watch was meant for a petite woman as it measures 6.5" in length. Time piece is not currently running but all parts are intact and the repair should be fairly easy. Additional information: due to previous owner, watch was likely purchased in New York City. Platinum marking inside case, 14k gold marking on clasp. Metallic blue detailed hands and hour marks. On back of time piece markings include: seventeen jewels, two adjustments, Goering Swiss. Gorgeous etching on side and back of watch case. I am happy to send additional photos or obtain additional information as needed. I will insure the full value of the watch for shipping.
