Cuervo Y Sobrinos Torpedo Automatic Chronograph Tour de España Watch 3022-1N Description: Overlooking the shores of Lake Lugano—a gorgeous glacial lake at the Swiss-Italian border—Swiss watch manufacturer Cuervo y Sobrinos creates timepieces of note in a magnificent nineteenth-century villa. Theirs is a rich, storied history of fine watchmaking. The brand may have been born in Havana, Cuba, long ago, but today they take pride in being the only Swiss fine watchmaking brand with a Latin tradition. This particular model takes its name from the torpedo-style cigar. This is brand new in unworn condition bold and dynamic, yet, very intricate and classy – Torpedo Taquimetro Chronograph Tour de España Swiss-made watch produced in Limited Edition Series of only 99 pieces Worldwide. This beautiful timepiece is manufactured by recently revived brand with old historic roots dating to 19th century – Cuervo Y Sobrinos. The brand / retail establishment was founded in Habana, Cuba, and became quite popular among watch aficionados of that time. Most of the current models are influenced by famed Cuba's trade-cigars, and in this particular case, the model takes its name after Torpedo-style cigar. This fabulous model features mechanical chronograph movement with automatic winding, Dubois-Depraz 2073 Caliber based on ETA 2892, 21 jewels, rhodium-plated bridges and main plates, case numbered. The large round-shaped case is crafted in high-polished stainless steel with concave bezel, in three parts, case diameter is 43 mm (excluding crown, pushers and retro-styled lugs), height is 13 mm, anti-reflective flat sapphire crystal, Screw-in see-through case back with sapphire exhibition window showcasing beautiful works of the movement, water-resistant up to 3 atm / 30 m. Beautiful black-colored dial with dark red chronograph sub-dials, Silk-screened printed white luminous Arabic and Roman numerals for hours, tachymetric scale printed on the outer part of the dial with white indexes, 30-minute counter at 9:00 o'clock, small seconds counter at 3:00 o'clock position, Date window at 6:00 o'clock, Leaf-shaped white-colored lacquered steel hands, Red sweeping chronograph seconds hand. Black fabric "Panama" strap with red stitching, high polished stainless steel deployant clasp buckle with the company's engraved insignia on the outer part.
