Up for sale is a large silver repousse verge fusee pair cased repeater pocket watch project. This large watch is about 57mm in diameter and is nearly spherical. This watch is in need of restoration. The outer silver case has a repousse mythological scene. The outer case is missing the button and spring to open it and keep it closed. The inner case is pierced and is finely engraved. It is in fairly good condition. The bell for the repeater is missing from inside the case. The crystal is also missing, as is one hand. The plunger for the repeater is also missing the screws to hold it to the inner case and there is a pin through it now which does not allow it to move any more. The verge fusee movement is fairly intact. It is engraved with a makers name that I cant make out and the city Holmia, which is Stockholm. I am not sure if it was made in Sweden or just marked that way. There is an under dial photo that you can use to judge the condition of the repeater. This will be a fantastic watch once restored.
