Tudor Vintage Submariner 94110 "Snowflake", stainless steel case on a strap, thick case is in outstanding condition, matte dial with matching hands, rare snowflake dial and hands, automatic movement, date window at 3 o'clock, "top hat" crystal with cyclops, quick set date, centered sweep second hand, bi-directional rotating bezel, screw-down Rolex crown, 947XXX serial (circa 1980), diameter: 40mm, thickness: 12mm, Excellent Condition with European Watch Company Pouch and 6 Month Warranty.This is a vintage 1979 stainless steel Tudor Submariner "Snowflake," 94110. It has a leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle, and a "top hat" crystal. It has a solid screw-down case back and a Triplock winding crown protected by a crown guard. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and black bi-directional rotating bezel with luminous decompression times are polished/brushed. There is a quick-set date aperture window at the 3 o'clock position underneath a Cyclops magnification bubble. The dial is the rare "snowflake" matte black with luminous square, baton, and triangular hour index markers, and the original luminous steel skeleton baton hands. The center sweep seconds hand and hour hand have diamond-shaped pointers adding to the snowflake appearance, and there is an outer seconds/minute track at the perimeter. It's water resistant to 200 meters, and the 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. The mechanical automatic self-winding Tudor/Rolex caliber 2784 is rhodium-plated. It's constructed with 25 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, and a self-compensating flat balance spring.
