I am please to offer from my private collection this exeptionaly rare antique 100% original G.A.Huguenin 18k solid gold&enamel 130g heavy oversize full hunter case pocket watch&chain fob for Persian king Naser al-Din Shah c1880's. The watch has the highest A1 GRADE (Patek Philippe quality) lever CHRONOMETER movement,all the parts are hand finished, 15 jewels,big bycolor compensating balance wheel with gold weights,solid gold train,special Wolf Teeth winding gears,ruby endstone on balance,3 Chatons(the rubies are mounted in a solid gold screwed settings),blue steel screws,precision regulator.On the watch front case is depiced enamelled portrait of the Persian King Naser al Din Shah in his parade uniform.
Naser al-Din Shah Qajar(16 July 1831 – 1 May 1896) was the of from 5 September 1848 to 1 May 1896 when he was assassinated. He was the son of and and the third longest reigning monarch in Iranian history after of the and of the . Nasser al-Din Shah had sovereign power for close to 50 years and was also the first Iranian monarch to formally visit Europe.The watch has been awarded personally by the Shah to the British diplomat Sir Orson L.Klark.
