It all began as a love story between Christian ruefli-flury, the founder of Edox, and his beloved wife pauline, a story of endless love and intimate passion. Blessed by the love for his wife, Christian ruefli-flury decided to create a beautiful pocket watch and offered it to pauline. She convinced her husband to found his own watch Company, Edox, in 1883. The small stone of the crown represents eternity, a symbol of everlasting friendship and love.
