An oversize and stunning dress chronograph watch, this large Wakmann from the early to mid-1940's with a manual-wind Venus Cal. 170 has been professionally restored and fully serviced in-house here at our Localtime Spa.It is in excellent authentic condition throughout and ready to proudly wear or join your collection. The 38mm [40mm counting the centre crown] case has been professionally re-chromed. The 'batman' dial and copper sector ring and numerals create a breathtaking and classy combination. Please note that the engraving on the movement bridge is consistent with US-import engravings of the 1940's, that were done by hand in the USA. We have included many photos, including some snapshots from the Spa bench and closeup snapshots we took, just for fun. This lovely chronograph is fitted with one of our own premium calf leather straps in brown, handmade for us in Italy, that accentuates the dial pretty nicely.As with all the watches we service in-house here at the Localtime Spa, this too comes with a written 6-month written warrantee from the date of purchase.
