In original condition this lady spend watch is a generic Swiss barred cylinder escapement movement. Late 19th century probably. This watches were locally assembled at a watchmaker shop using parts from various makers and therefore has no specific brand. This watch is in excellent vintage condition, it runs keeps timeand appears to be all original. Fashioned from 18 karat gold with royal blue enamel and machine turned gold casing with a pearl. There are two minor areas of enamel loss barely noticeable. The watch also includes a 23 inch 18 karat gold and blue matching enamel watch chain. I lovely delightful relic of days gone by this watch functions as exquisite jewelry and is a functional time piece.. it's at accuracy should be interpreted in keeping with 19th-century standards – it's not a railroad watch but I daresay for most women it will be highly accurate. I base this on my personal experience and habits! I am pricing these together as I wish to keep them together rather than selling off parts.
