This is an Illinois 21 j. type ll P 60 hr pocket watch w/elinvar hairspring. It is a model 15, from the year 1932. This particular type ll P is known to be a very accurate timekeeper and is a rare pocket watch. Also it is 16 size with double roller, lever set, 3/4 plate movement, & adjusted 6 positions. One problem it has is that I can't wind it up. I know the mainspring may have slipped or has broken and may need replaced. The rest of the watch looks really good cosmetically as you will see my 12 photo's here. The movement is very nice and probably the cleanest I have seen. The original double sunk white dial is flawless with bold black numerals. The balance staff is firm with no wobble which is a big + so all you would have to look at is the mainspring problem. I am going to try and price it fairly being that it is a rare watch and does needs repair.
