Description
Brand: Universal Genève Year of Manufacture: 1930-1939
Case Size: 35mm

This is a Universal Geneve Compur most likely from the late 1930's, possibly early 40s. I'm selling this watch because I hardly wear it, it is in considerably good condition for it's age and is ready to wear.  The watch will come on a lightly worn leather perforated leather strap from the 1940s.This watch was produced early in the golden years of Universal Geneve, they use to supply several watchmakers including; Girard-Perregaux, Jaeger(Le-Coultre), and even Eberhard & Co. The Compur was introduced in the mid-30s and was the predecessor of the Uni-Compax also mistakenly called the 'Bi-Compax' (which never existed!!!).
Dial/Hands: Original dial with light patina, clear printed arabic numerals, outer tachymeter scale with 1000 base / Blue steel stick hands Case/Crown/Pushers: 35mm Stainless steel (Eversteel) case, with model and serial numbers visible on the back / Crown believed to be original / Pushers believed to be original, however ==>  the "reset" pusher's spring effect works but is weak. Movement/Functions: Manual wound UG cal. 285 (recently serviced) / Time (Seconds, Minutes, Hours) and Chronograph (2 registers; Seconds and Minutes)
Please feel free to ask any questions or would like more specific pictures.
This watch is being advertised in other places and may be sold off of eBay.  BUY IT NOW here and don't miss your chance to own this wonderful Universal Geneve!** This item is being re-listed because the previous buyer thought it had a self winding movement and had issues operating the watch, my apologies for not making that clear in the original listing. The watch has been inspected before listing**Thank you for looking.
