DescriptionDear customers,I am happy to offer directly from my private collection this Important historical and exeptionaly rare museum quality heavy hunter case 14k gold&enamel observatory approved Chronometer Graziosa Grand-Prix pocket watch, specially ordered for the cabinet of the first Chinese President Sun Yat-Sen. The watch depcting an amazing hand engraved portrait of Chinese first president Sun Yat Sen,surounded with blue enamel dragons,and Chinese characters on the front case.On the rear case is engraved a shaked hands and 2 flags-symbolize the union of the Chinese nation under the rule of Guomindng Party.Such a Guomindang watches are extremely rare.We know to exist less than 20 pieces that has been awarded to an elite Guomindang officials.Refference:see Christie's sale #1391 c12th Nov 2012.A similar pair of silver watches sold for $14,528.00.(see photos below). This very watch has been awarded to Mr.Zhang Renjie.
