I am a private Watches collector, who after having been collecting these jewels during 25 years, now it´s time for other people to enjoy them. These Watches have been kept in a box during this time, so they have seen sunlight in a few times. Now it´s time that other people take the benefit of them, people who, as I do, sleep with the ‘tic-tac’ of the Watch. I´ll describe with the most accuracy that I can, the history of each Watch and its condition, hoping that , as I´ve done, you enjoy these splendid pieces. EDOX GEOSCOPE 48 MM: In 1971, family-owned watch brand Edox introduced the Geoscope, the “world’s first” WorldTimer wristwatch. It was a 42mm, and one few was 48mm (only 50 pieces). bold and beautiful timepiece and became very popular among collectors.The original Geoscope’s unique colourful “earthmap” dial showed the globe as viewed from the South Pole. An inner bezel, displaying 24 divisions, made one complete revolution every 24 hours, the watch also showed GMT time, and the sun’s position. The "Geoscope" is a cult 24h WorldTimer introduced by the reputable Swiss Edox in . It's not a chronograph but I feel that it's the best gallery for such a massive sportswatch. The case is 42mm wide made of a single piece of stainless steel referred to as monoblock. It's a superwaterproof "Compressor" style case made by E.Piquerez SA with the characteristic . One has a split-stem and the other is used to rotate the 24h timezone bezel ring. Both are completely waterproof despite the lack of threads. This must have been quite an interesting invention by EPSA also used in the .
