Huge Watch parts lot Tub of 75 lbs Pocket wrist watches & Movements for repair

I recently was able to buy out a watchmaker in South Dakota and also a couple jewelry stores in Arizona. It is so interesting to see the differences in attitudes towards watchmaking. The watchmaker in South Dakota repaired watches for over 150 jewelry stores across the nation in the height of his career. The jewelry store owner/watchmaker from Arizona learned watchmaking at a young age, but concentrated his efforts on selling more jewelry. Both had top quality tools and parts and both took very good care of them. Over time I have acquired alot of misc mechanical pocket and wrist watch movements. Here are some specifics about this auction: Brand: Various brands. Lots of the wrist watches/Movements are Timex Lucerne Elgin Helbros Bulova ETC. Alot of the pocket watches/ movements are Waltham Elgin or swiss. Several are Key wind Item Description: Just a little over 75lbs of Wrist and pocket watches / movements / cases etc. A few of the wrist watches have bands on them as seen in the pictures, but by far most of these do not have cases or bands. Most are movement only. The watches range from complete and working to incomplete or Not working. Looking at and studying the pictures here is the key. The pictures can say more than words could ever describe. Tub is not included. All of this will barely fit in 3 Large Flat Rate Boxes A little of everything seems to be in here. From ladies bracelet watches to Pocket watch movements. From the 1870s up to the 1970s. ALOT of this group is good stuff worth selling by itself or putting together to make complete watches etc. Lots of the parts are useful to a watchmaker, but these parts are great parts and are also useful to Steampunk artists. The price comes out to only $20 a pound. One Pound is about 8-10 large pocket watch movements or about 30-50 mens wrist watch movements. Lots of good stuff at a relatively low price!
