Beautiful solid 18K yellow gold Gübelin ladies watch with mesh style solid 14K yellow gold bracelet. I am selling this for a good friend who is the original owner having purchased the watch direct from Gübelin in Switzerland. Total weight about 28.8 grams. The Swiss family-owned Gübelin was founded in 1854 and is known for its exquisite high-end jewellery and luxury watch brands. 18K gold Gübelin case is square shaped at 20.25mm wide (ex-crown) with lug end to end measurement at almost 31mm. Between the lugs is 10.5mm while thickness is 8mm at high point of domed acrylic crystal. Overall good condition with normal light wear marks. Inside rear case is fully signed including “18K” and “.750” with gold makers mark and case number 137299. Acrylic crystal in excellent condition. Owner originally had rear cover engraved with her name; her jeweler has removed / filled that engraving. Silver-tone dial in very good condition with gold hour and minute hands. Signed “Gubelin” with gold logo at 12 o’clock. Gold dot markers are 3, 6 and 9 with stick markers elsewhere. Slight discoloration of the hour and minute hands. Original Gübelin Swiss 17-jewel manual wind movement in good operating condition as the owner had it serviced a number of times. Original gold crown in good condition and operating correctly. As with all mechanical watches it can run +/- a couple of minutes per day. The Swiss movement has an adjustment lever to better pinpoint time; your jeweler can easily tweak that setting if important for you.
The 14K yellow gold mesh bracelet is a modern replacement for the original leather strap & pin buckle. The owner paid almost $1,000 for it. The bracelet is in excellent condition and will fit up to about 6 ¾ inch wrist (175mm). There is a 2nd clasp position allowing you to reduce the length by almost ¼ inch. The clasp is stamped with the gold makers mark and “14K”.
