Rare bishop's Neo-Renaissance cross-shaped watch from middle of XIX century.
Watch case is made of silver and is decorated by champleve enamel.
Both front and back covers are beautifully pierced and engraved, very nice work.
Please note: the watch features the single hour hand, just like it's predecessors from XVI-XVII centuries.Watch is equipped with Swiss bar movement with cylinder escapement, common for mid-XIX.
Movement is in normal running condition.Diameter of the watch is 67mm, width is 44mm, thickness is 17mm, weight is 95 grams.
