Up for bid is a Private Label HAMILTON 938 size 18 S/N 13996. The dial and movement are labeled “Jas. R. Reed & Co Pittsburg, Pa.”. The case is gold filled and has a floral and shield motif. It is a lever set and pendant wind. The watch is running strong. The dial has a hairline at the 29 minute marker. The crystal and case are in very good condition. This watch is a beautiful time piece from 1895. The vintage watches that I am listing on eBay are from my personal collection that I have a mast over the past 40 years. I describe the watch’s visual appearance and working condition to the best of my ability. I will indicate if a watch has been serviced recently. But, generally they will need to be serviced.
