A very rare Marvin chronograph with probable military background
Powered by a Valjoux 22 caliber. One of the most renowned movements for watch collectors.
This particular watch has very unusually large subdials, which together with the fact that it's not gold plated and the use of a military strap makes this watch very likely to have been made for military use.
Although there isn't any documentation to back this up, all of these chronograph characteristics lead that way.
Dial is fully original. Unretouched, unrepainted, all original condition.
Same with the beautiful blue steel hands, all original.
Case is not restored, age signs and wear marks are visible.
Original military bund strap.
Size is 35mm without crown. Strap is 18mm at the lugs, 40mm under the watch and 22cm long. And the strap alone is a collectors piece on its own.
Movement is in perfect working conditions, all chronograph functions are working properly.
