It has a striking retro vintage style case and dark royal blue dial. Measuring 35mm in diameter by 44mm long, it is about the size of a Rolex Datejust. And like a Datejust it is powered by an automatic movement that has been officially certified as chronometer. It presents in true expertly restored condition. The dial has been perfectly refinished. As part of the restoration, the movement has been freshly overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate. A classic Ulysse Nardin chronometer that presents as mint on the wrist! Ulysse Nardin:
Ulysse Nardin is best known by many collectors for creating chronometers, extremely accurate time keeping instruments. Their marine chronometer used by ship's captains to plot and follow the correct course while at sea. By employing sextants and chronometers, a captain could track the changes in his course over time and determine the exact location of his ship, and Nardin's marine chronometers were among the most reliable and sought after.
