This is an absolutely like new Hamilton 4992B 22 Jewel 16 size Military with a beautiful fine silver Keystone case. There are no repair markings on the case back. The screws in the movement do not appear to have had a screw driver on them. The bow is stiff. The 24 hour dial is excellent as well. The only thing I can see is the 15 is a little faint, but overall the hands and dial are like new. The movement is running and keeping very good time, but I don't know if it has ever been serviced. The serial number is 4C545xx ca. 1943. This piece is absolutely as nice as any 4992B in existence, the only thing missing is the box. This is for the most discriminating Hamilton or World War II collector. You will not be disappointed and I doubt you will find one any nicer.
