Dive watches are simple brutes by design. They need to be visible underwater, withstand the depths and the knocks of rough use, and have a method to track elapsed time. The Zinex Trimix GMT does all of these things very well in a 46mm hyper-masculine classic dive watch design.   The owner of this micro-brand, Joe Sadri, is an accomplished diver and his creations have functional features that are tested in real world conditions. This is a limited edition item, labeled number 16 of 300, that is popular with collectors.  It was produced pre-name change from Zinex to Zixen.  These timepieces are scarce and difficult to find.  The company had planned to produce 300 Limited Edition pieces of the Zinex Trimix model.  In the middle of production, Zinex was forced to change its name to Zixen following a lawsuit. It is believed roughly half of the 300 were actually produced and distributed.  There are very few in the marketplace with "Zinex" on the dial, and these have become a collector's item.         Key Words: Dive Watch, Diver, Scuba, waterproof, water resistant, deep diver, professional, microbrand, micro-brand, micro brand, zinex, zixen, rolex, omega, brietling, oris, u-boat, doxa, sinn, U1, U2, IWC, tudor, tag heuer, oceanis, submariner, planet ocean, seamaster
